Hi guys,

I have just ordered a few things from Aqua Essentials online. Just wondered who has used this site and how long delivery has taken for you.

I've used it and delivery was ok - took them a few days to process the order, so was about 5 working days all in all.

I do like the company though

An excellent company and very good to see one specialising in planted tanks.

Things I have ordered often turn up the next day if they are ordered early enough on the day of order, if not has always been 2 days, i.e. order on Monday get the stuff by Wednesday. Not ordered plants though which might take longer due to packaging, etc.

Generally a good service all round

Cheers guys, I ordered Tuesday morning and got an email shipped on tuesday evening. Should arrive tomorrow then.
It is a great website. Loads of planted things on there.

I ordered Sunday evening (co2 tube and a bit of rotala), and they were delivered first thing today. I've used them before, and will use them again!

I have used them a lot over the last couple of weeks to set up my new tank and they have been superb. Everything they sell seems to be top quality. I must stop eyeing up those ADA CO2 diffusers.

No problems with AE what-so-ever.
Good quality products, quick delivery and excellent communication/customer service !

Not to mention that they sell things you'll find hard to locate anywhere else in the UK !

I make no secret that I'm a fan of Aqua Essentials.

I use AE pretty much exclusively for plant related products including plants.

Flawless service and unrivaled (in UK) stocking of specialist planted aquarium goods, including stuff for the beginner. They stock Tropica and ADA - say no more.

Orders are despatched same or next day, so generally arrive in a couple of days.

It is worth searching around for the products they sell though, some are cheaper from elsewhere though I have ordered a few things from them myself (Realux T6 tube for example) and they have delivered promptly. I would use them again if relevant.

I keep buying things from it. my bank ballance can`t tanke any more

I ordered some things on Sunday night, says they were dispatched Monday, gonna see if they come tomorrow (thursday) or I'll get in contact, seems its Royal Mails fault not theres though

Also I order a few of the plats but got an email yesterday that they are now half price! just my luck

Edit I was out when the postie called this morning. So now I can't get it while the morrow will the plants be OK after 5 days? Stupid royal mail!

Yep, since the move to exclusively fw planted, AE has replaced Aquatics Online as my number 1 site. I love the service that you get from Richard, very helpful, so much so that I don't mind paying the extra for some of the products on there.

I'd agree with the above-the best place in the UK for planted tank goods. Always responsive and prompt. The gear is top notch. I rarely use anywhere else. It isn't always good for you bank balance though!

I've dealt with alot of internet companies and aquaessentials are at the summit for service and response. Need I say more.
