Could anyone post any pictures of the American lifestyle? Like your garden, house, neighbourhood or something, or desert ranches. I just love seeing films about America, and would love to visit their one day. I'd like to see pictures of the way the houses are and things, it might sound a little bit weird, but i'm really interested.

Meanwhile, my husband still has our honeymoon vaction pics here if you want to check them out. http://etherspring.com/ It's more scenic America pics than Americana though. --- We drove from Houston through west Texas and New Mexico and stayed at a lodge in Page, Arizona at Lake Powell.

I know, I just moved and I need to hook up my photo computer to the Internet, so I can upload the pictures for you. I'll do it soon, I promise.theres a lot of talk here but no pictures
Edit: Found some already uploaded! Mind you, these are mediocre. I have much better ones.

Here's a pic of downtown Chicago, looking west from North Avenue Beach, around 6 am;

Looking east, towards the sunrise over the lake;

Crown Fountain, in Millennium Park, Chicago;

Run down abandoned hotel in Harvey, down the street from where I work. I took this pic in January, they finally knocked it down this week. Rough neighborhood, but someone has a sense of humor. Read the sign in the second pic;

A few houses in my neighborhood, I was taking pics to get landscaping ideas in the spring;

My house;

Family pic from a summer bar-b-que;

I have a ton more, just not resized to something reasonable.

And some houses that were being built in Las Vegas...out of wood. No idea if they put anything on the outside.

This is the view from our backyard (looking outside the cement block fence). It's the extended parking lot for the Knotts Berry Farm amusement park. Sometimes you'd see a horse driven carriage in the lot, it's part of Knott's rides. The white tower on the left is a ride where they'll take you up, then drop you very fast. The red striped tower on the right (hidden by the leaves) is an observation deck. You ride up to the top, and it spins slowly so you get to see the whole city.

View from the living room. You can see the drop ride tower, the observation tower, and part of the roller coaster.

Aaand here's the aerial view from Google Maps
Zoom in and have fun! It's quite clear in our area
