Hi,
If you guys remember I posted about trying to cut down on work for my parents come Sept beccause Im going to be going away to college.
I know alot of you have mini bows 2.5 gallon tanks. What are the pros and cons about this tank?
Can it be divided easily? Does is come with a good filter that wont affect male bettas?
Thanks and any other info about the tank would be great too biggrin.gif

Hello,

I have two minibow 2.5s. I love them. Some of them come with a "betta divider" which is good....I ended up making canvas dividers though because my males bit each other's tails through the grates. But there have been no tail biting incidences with my females.

They are easy to clean. But, I don't like the filter for bettas. Some come with an in-water filter and others come with the wheel kind of filters that stick on the outside. I ended up getting a sponge filter because all of my bettas hate the current.

I love the shape of them, and the colors are nice. Course, all added bonuses. Only downside that I see is that the plastic easily scratches. Like if you rub rocks on there or something. But, I love my two and I am getting another one soon. I would recommend them to anyone.

Hope this helps! thumbs-up.gif

Thanks Elise for your inside on the mini bows.
To anyone who has one of the inside filters how did you find that the bettas got along with it?
Thanks smile.gif

I have internal filters in all of my 5 gallons, I don't have and 2.5 gallons though. I keep them close to the lowest setting and all my bettas are fine with it.

How often do you have to change the water?
