Barbodes everetti?
This fish reaches an average of 4" in captivity but can reach up to 6" in the wild. They are a very nice Barb that should be in group in a tank of at least 30-35 gallons IMO to provide adaquet swimming room. They may nibble at softer leaved plants but other plants generally survive and they are not fussy eater, eating most commercail or frozen foods as well as live. |

Barbus everetti is a very nice fish, although it is fair to say that the quite striking markings tend to fade as it gets older/larger. I would go a little further than Ryan and say they nibble quite a lot on plants, which is why I don't keep them any more!
Otherwise a peaceful and attractive addition to a larger tank. I bred these some time ago. You'd think a large fish like this would lay large eggs and have easy to raise fry. Not so, upon spawning they lay absolutely 1000's of tiny eggs and the fry are far to small for anything but infusoria which they guzzle down. You need to have a very substantial infusoria farm if you are going to raise these. |

I would say so, although when everything is full sized your tank will be marginally overstocked. Sometime to go before then though.
