What cichlids would go with some discus, 9 cardinal tetras, and 2 rams in a 60 gallon tank?

Not too many other Cichlids I would keep with Discus, except the Rams you already have. Apisto sp. may work. I say may, because you have to be careful the Ram and them have enough space.

BOrelli's Apistogramma's are nice, you might want to try them.

My oscar has eaten a pleco and had "choked" on it was stuck in his throat for a full day now he is lying on the bottom in a corner and will not come out to see me or the kids. (He ALWAYs does probably looking for food). Any ideas why?? I don't want to loose him.

Go down to the bottom of the NW Cichlids section and create a thread.

Your only chance is to pull the Pleco out. He has spines in him though, so you have to do it very carefully and make sure the spines of the Pleco don't catch in the Oscars mouth.
