Hi. I recently purchased a Koi and the breeder told me that the Koi is pregnant. The fish is really fat. We have had her for about a month. Now she is hidding all the time and sits at the bottom of the pond. I noticed that her eyes are now poking out of her head. Does anyone have any expertise as to what is going on with her? Thanks!

Koi are egglayers, so they don't get pregnant. Some egglayers look a bit fat when they're carrying eggs, but considering her other symptoms I'm pretty sure it's some sort of infection. I'd post in the emergency section, and also contact the seller about his misinformation.
