ive been reading the pinned posts about java moss carpets. i was wondering if i could use cotton thread, if i can that means i can start it off tonit cheers |

i have m8 with no ill effects the only problem i had was because u have 2 pull it quite tite 2 ensure the java moss stays in place the cotton tends 2 break really easy but other than that i found it fine other option is fishing line much much stronger 2 work with

fishing line works well. its strong and clear looking!. its the business!

cotton is easier but weaker.
Sometimes i give up on fishing line if i get stressed lol.

i found fishing line very dificult to deal with. Now i just use rubber bands. It looks ugly for a few weeks, but after that, i just cut them off. No big deal.
