Long stringy white poo means constipation, internal parasite, bacterial infection.
What do you feed your fish?
Cook some frozen peas for a few minutes, let cool down and pop out of shell,
mush between fingers into small peices and add to the tank.

I feed them tetramin tropical flakes...and I tend to crush them up. I intend to start feeding bloodworms and maybe some brine shrimp once a week as soon as I buck up the money for that stuff.

Don't over feed blood worms it can make fish bloat up.
Frozen daphnia good at digesting a fish food also.
I would try the peas and if they ares till producing long stringy white
poo get back to the board.
Good luck.
