My tank has a gravel substrate ( mixed gems type). Would this be considered as too ' sharp' for Corys?

If so, I have seen a previous answer suggesting tupperware(or similar) containers making a ' sandpit' which seems the easiest option.

From what i have researched on here sand is the best substrate for Cory's as they have sensitive and delicate barbules(sp?) that can be damaged by gravel smile.gif
