Hi
new to this forum so bare with me please. Purchased a 3ft tank and decided sand was the way to go.Filled the tank with water and the sand and have let it settle for 4 days but still there is a yellow tinge to the water . Please can you help

Hi,
Did you clean the sand before you put it in the tank? If not then you must remove the sand and clean it in a bucket first. |

Hi, what sand did you use and did you rinse it before use?
All sand contains dust and this is what 'hangs' in the water. It will eventually filter out but could take several weeks in some cases. If you did not wash it through then it may be that you do have to take it out and rinse it I'm afraid
