I was thinking of going but have been put off by the rain! |

The Vulcan is also due to appear at the Royal International Air Tattoo at Fairford and Farnborough International later this month.
but to when it will actualy depart for those is anyones guess. perhaps contacting the CAA will help, as it is they who say when and if it can fly Air Traffic Services Licensing T: 01293 573270 E-mail: ats.licensing@srg.caa.co.uk |

Here is a video of the Vulcan during its airshow approval flight, last thursday... HERE
Also (taken from another forum) .......... "It is anticipated that XH558 will stay at Waddington until the middle of next week and then fly directly to Fairford for the weekend displays there. Reason being it saves on fuel and attendant expenses on hiring emergency services cover at her home (inactive) airfield of Bruntingthorpe. Farnborough is then the next scheduled date with flights on all 3 public viewing days. The final confirmed display will be at the Dunsfold "Wings and Wheels" day on 24 August. This due to the fact that this is the "home" display of current Benefactor of the project Eddie Forrester the MD of "Aerobytes". These are the only displays financed. Long term major viable funding is required to keep the aircraft in the air after that. Eddie Forrester is hoping that by financing these few displays the sight of XH558 actually in the air and displaying to the public will be enough to bring on board the long awaited sponsorships. We can but hope." |

What it needs is a major sponsor like red bull or something-but then they will probably want an all over colour scheme for the aircraft like the sea vixen. I wouldnt mind that if it would keep the aircraft up for the forseable future. Thanx shrimper for that - i never twigged seeing those aa signs all around where i live-Me big muppet!
