Hi

I am having big problems in my tank, the ammonia level is dangerously high and I have lost about 5 fish in the last week. I have tried two water changes but the ammionia is still high.

I think I have too many swords so I going to have to rehome all of them cry1.gif With them changing sex all the time I can't see them stopping producing babies.

But I thought i would ask how you lot cope with livebearer populations?

How many swords can happlily live in a 210 litre tank?

keep doing water changes. Two water changes are not going to do much. Dont feed as much, and if you didnt cycle your tank, then keep doing water changes every day until it does.

Buy a fish that will take care of the babies but won't bother the adults? You'll still have some babies make it, but not nearly as much.

you can always get a tank divider and seperate male - females this way.
