Hi,

Ive been looking about for something different to go in my 120gallon tank, most aquatic life grows either too big or too small to live with some of the fish I have.

Would an axolotl survive in a tank with larger fish, the feeding in the tank I believe would be fine for the inhabitant, but I was wondering about the compatibility with the inhabitants:

1x Glyptoperichthys joselimaianus
1x Pimelodus Orantus
3x Satanoperca leucosticta (up for sale)
1x Polyterus senegalus meridionalis
1x Polypterus delhezi
1x Polypterus endlicheri endlicheri (up for sale)
1x Mastacembelus erythrotaenia
1x Channa gaucha
1x Datnioides microlepis
1x Semaprochilodus taeniurus

if not, are there any other animals that would go?

I woudent keep the axolotl with them.
Many of the fish you keep are curious, and could get to friendly with the axolotl. Their gills are going to attract attention, and without these they will suffocate. Besides, as said above, they are coldwater animals.
They are great in a species aquarim devoted to their own needs.

yeah, these are problems I thought might occur. If I was going to do a species tank like that, i would have to go with turtles and terrapins.

Ive seen some large tanks with fish and turtles, but most grow too big, and they need a place to be able to get out of the water, as well has heat lamps.

Any ides on something that could fit in?

Some sort of Herptile right? If you wanted to go crazy there are a couple of aquatic snakes you could try, but I dont know if they need a place to bask.
Turtles and fish only work together as you say with a basking place and heat lamps, but you need a huge tank and big fish.

After looking somewhere elce (.....) File snakes are a possibility. But, they are quite rare in captivity and can be a bit tricky to keep.
But, they are stunning!
