OK so I found eight platy fry in the fish tank on April 20th so they are one month old today. I took some picks for a mildstone-their first brine shrimp meal! They are cute but I have the hardest time with cameras. I mean I shake the camera and blurr it. I only have a few though.

Oh and here is one little extra of my new ADF. His name is Bubba

He blends in really well.

Cameras and fish are a tough combination. Some of the auto focus ones want to focus on the glass so that makes it even more of a challenge. Fry are always fun to have and raise. At a month old, I am usually ready to put my fry back in with the adults if all I have in the tank are the platies or similar fish. Obviously if you have something like angels you need to wait but if they have more room to swim and get their exercise they will grow faster.

8 fry total. THey are so fun to raise. I have had many bad experiences with little ones who think they can escape and the little ones who decide to get stuck in the net and stuff.

It is fun raising fry because of the results you can get! The first time is just as exiting as the future fry you are going to have!
