i am going to the lfs tommorrow to get the first inhabitants for my cycled tank and i need some opinions on what to get. i was thinking on mabee a few endlers and a sparkeling gourami. it is a 6 gal tropical tank. any idea on fish nd please dont say bettas because i have already had those and i got so stressed over breeding them you dont wantto know

my tank is around the same size as yours,its such a bitch trying to fing something cool with such limited space isnt it?

i currently have a betta and 3 cherry shrimps and i may get some endlers in the future

i would recomend some endlers as i have heard gourami's can turn a bit mean and terratorial which with limited space isnt to good

plus endlers are sexy!!!

also,have you considered shrimps?

i know when someone first recomended them to me i thought they would be a bit rubbish but they are actualy pretty cool

another idea could be some pygmy corys or african dwarf frogs

Hi, yup not a bad choice.
Personally I would get maybe 4 endlers for now and wait a while for the SG and let the plants grow up a bit to provide a bit of hiding shelter for the timid SG.

6 Gal Id only Put a Betta, Shrimp/or Pygym Cory's, No way is it big enough for a Gourami, Im not sure about Endlers, As I dont know how active they are but those 3 fish are the only ones Id put in there (or one dwarf puffer by itself)
