Did anyone else hear about this disease being introduced into the UK recently?

Apparantly it's a tropical disease affecting amphibians which has somehow been introduced over here (presumably illegal import of some amphibean or another or someone releasing their tropical pets into the wild). My uncle recently lost all his pond frogs to it. sad.gif Apparntly it's a pretty nasty disease.

Just generally wondering whether anyone knows anything about this disease. Is there any way of it passing through normal tap water or anything or would the frogs in question need to come into contact with another creature carrying the disease?

I'm sure it's nothing to worry about but as there have been reports of it in my area I'd like to know whether there's likely to be any risk to my tropical frogs if I use water straight from the taps? I'm probably being paranoid but I might boil my water-change water for a while just to be safe!
