Perhaps I'm being a little dense today, but what exactly are you asking? Do you want to know the largest cichlid species you can house, or which of the fish you already have will grow the largest?
If you want to know the largest of the ones you already have, your fire mouths will get up to 6". If you're wanting to know the largest you can keep, it would be easier to narrow down if you can tell us what kind of cichlids you prefer (mbuna, haps, south american, central american, etc). |

Just re read, didnt make alot of sense, yeah just want to know biggest fish i can go for as for type, non aggressive.... You'll have to narrow it down a little more for me, there are quite a few large fairly peaceful fish species in the world. Are you wanting to keep a single large fish, or a group of larger ones? I noticed you have New World and African Riverine cichlids, do you want the same kind, or are you looking at doing something completely different? If you want more peaceful fish avoid the mbuna of Lake Malawi, and quite a few of the haps. I'd suggest taking a look at the species profiles here, and maybe post a few you like and we can help you narrow it down more. I think I just saw offsett banging his head against the keyboard... It's HER head actually. |

Ohhhn the adventures of a 6X2X2, Even though I dont understand what your are saying Im just going to say what I would do if wanting cichlids in that tank..... If you want a agressive community you could go for some new world cichlids such as jags, JD, Oscar and a pleco and some large dither fish (silver dollar, and a eel. If you wanted african cichlids, Imo Id go for a community of Hapalochromis as they are just the Sex tbh
But that is just my 2 cents and posting in the african cichlid section agression is always there in the fish, its in their general nature, There isnt that much that you will be able to keep (size wise) if you want a big fish, in a general community...
