I have a 30 gallon with Cory Cats and a BN Plec. I am going to get an Angel(s) tomorrow. I was going to get just one, but am thinking maybe 2 or 3. Would 3 be pushing it for my tank size ? If I get 2 will they likely fight ? I am also considering Rams and a school of Rasboras or similar. I know I can't add all. What would you do ? This will be my first time for Angels or Rams. Thanks !

ok something i actually know about..... what are the dimesions of your tank? Angelfish need a clearance of at leat 18" high so if its not i would nix the angels. I have read in many places that you should either get 1 angel or a group or at least four of the tank. Im not to familiar with bn plecs but if its like the coso that way they can pair off into breeding pairs. Also Angels are teritorial (mine is) and they might try to fight for control mmon then your tank is probably to small. I also love my rams.... They are mean lil buggiers but only seem to be towards each other... territorial issues... but seem to be relitiively peaceful towards my angel. im not sure if this is what you were looking for but i hope it helped.

My tank is 30x12x18

I think I will get just one then. You confirmed my thoughts. Thank you.

Well, initially angelfish are more of a shoaling fish. As they grow older they become more territorial.
