I have been trying to feed my plecos some vegetables but they seem to just float. I've tried lettuce and cucumbers and they just stay at the top. What does everyone do to get their vegetables to sink?

I got a couple of screwcumbers off ebay, they're really good -
http://www.screwcumber.com/ Otherwise you can use plant weights, these are little strips of lead that you can bend around the veggie in question, your local aquarium stockist should have them. |

I use a clip that you buy for airline the sucker holds to the glass and the clips push in to the veg, after a bit it floats to the top and I scoop it out.

Do you know the plastic things that some pizza shops put in the middle of the pizza's?
I use one of them, they have 3 plastic prongs and i push the piece of cucumber onto it,then push it into the gravel a little bit which keeps it on the bottom. May sound silly but it works a treat |
