I only got my new female platys on saturday and already the male one i already had is chasing this certain one all over the place, not hurting it.
I'm guessing its try to you know what!!  Quite funny really!!

You are right bam_emma. They are chasing the females around for monly one reason. As 5teady said, they are a bit randy. It sounds to me like you will need to decide, in the next month or so, what to do with another batch or more of fry that look like the new male.
