There is a moral to that. Don't name your fish after characters that suffer a premature death smile.gif

And if you feed smaller bits of food and don't have lose rocks neither would have had a problem.

you obviously need many fish so you could not possibly name them all. so off you go more tanks and more fish.... you know it makes sense.

OK, what i meant was, if every time you name a fish it has an accident, then dont name any a way to do this would be to have so many fish you cant name them all as there would be too many fish for you to remember their names.
Now i have confused myself crazy.gif

Naming fish bad luck alot. So does puting information about the species on your tank.

I'd be more concernd about having the fish in with the puffer, rather than them dying when you name them.
What specie of puffer is this? as most are best kept with larger fish or on there own (species tanks in some species cases).
Even fish such as dwarf puffers, will still take a powerful bite out of things bigger then themselves.
So its best to keep in the know.

i have a bronze puffer a c. lortiti and 2 figure 8s and there all alone except the figure 8s. who are in with a few gobys that they dont mind a bit. im smarter then to by a puffer a 10+dollar treat that can give it a fatal fatty liver. and actually i took a risk and was able to name a bunch of my fish with no accidents so far i not have karma effect gir and big red
and what is so unlucky about listing species

I'd probly remove the gobies fromthe fig 8's as fig 8's from my experience can be quite spiteful.
If the fig's are leaving the gobies alone, then thats fine for the moment. But i would expect accidents to happen somewhere down the line.

As much as generally id agree, ive had great success wit BBG's and T Biocellatus, the gobies clear up waste and spilt food and generally add some action to the tank.

that being said (although true), if the puffer's killed one of his gobies so freely.
id show concern on his match up, at least.
