ive tried cucumber but they dont touch it lol my gouramis love it though

give algae wafers a try, it took mine a while to visably come down for food but they have a little gathering anytime i drop algae wafers in now ! they may be feeding on the algae in your tank and not hungry !

Boil the cucumber for a bit and it'll eat the middle bit out and usually leave the skin.
