I have lost 3 clown loaches overnight!!

i've recently lost a red tail shark and a gourami. I put these down to old age but not so sure now.

There is only a silver shark and plec left in the tank now. The silver shark has white spots covering the eyes but no spots anywhere else

If anyone has any ideas please let me know

Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior):

normal behaviour for silver shark but this morning the whole eye socket looked like it had a white layer over it, towards the end of the day the covering is getting smaller. The clown loaches were perfectly normal last night. One jumped out of the water and on top of the pump within minutes it was dead. When I got up this morning the other two were dead. none of them had any marks on them at all.

Do plec's have a history of killing other fish?

Volume and Frequency of water changes: 30% water change every weekend

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: We add tap safe chemicals when we change the water

Tank inhabitants: silver shark and plec

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration):none

Exposure to chemicals:no

Digital photo (include if possible):

It's more like a layer of skin over the whole eye area. throughp
out the day the size has reduced and it's only in the middle of the eye now.

cheers

I would take a sample of your water to the lfs and tell them to write the readings down for you.
Cloudy eye is a symtom of a desease not a desease in its own right.
Causes.
Bad water quality.
Irratation.
Poor diet.
Stress.
Old age.
Bacterial infection.
Parasites.
