Just been given a few bit of LV from a friend and one of them has a couple of mushrooms. But the largest of them looks ill to me. See the pic. Is it safe to keep or should it be binned? What's wrong with it?

It does not look at its best, but then again how long was the pic taken after moving to the new tank.

They can go into 'shock' for a day or even a week when encountering the new sets of water conditions in your tank

Leave it for a few days and see how it goes

What are your current water parameters?

Steve

So it's not "spilling out its innards" then? Just looked a little odd to me, seeing the insides!

Yeah, that's what I thought. Maybe something tried eating it or there was a rockfall? But I want to know if it should stay or go.

Really? Looks so death-in-progress to me!! Should I keep it out of water flow or leave it where it is - at bottom of tank but in flow.
