This may sound odd but im posting because i think the fish my boyfriend has in his tank are blue paradise fish, im not quite sure, as his mother is away for a week and there her fish, but anyway, there's only 2 of them in a pretty big tank, and i just want to know why they get really close to eachother and expand their tails? looks like their fighting, but i cant tell, any one got any idea what there doing?

paradise fish like to fight, especially the males. they really shouldn't be kept together unless there're a lot of them or it's a large tank.

just not sure if their trying to mate, or if their just fighting...cnt tell wether their both same sex or not?
