Its broken. just the tip of it is off. Will it grow back or is he never going to get it back?

My emeralds have never molted I think. Or at least I've never seen a molt

How big are they & how long have you had them? Larger crabs (like other crustaceans) may do it a lot less frequently than young ones.

It's probably picked at a rock or something too hard or got into a fight with another crab. But yea the claw should grow back! Ive had crabs and shrimps lose whole legs only to find them grow back after few weeks!

Its just the tip tho. The crab has two claws and 2 sets of pincers. There is the pincher that can move and the one that stays stationary the pincher that moves is the one broken off.
