Hi everyone,
new to the forum, used to have several tanks years ago. Just bought a 20 gallon, my how things have changed. I have set up and things were going well, I ran the tank, waited about two weeks and then bought 3 mollies and 1 pleco. everything seemed fine until today I noticed a bump on the left fin of the pleco, thought at first it was fungus, but from what I can remember the fugus balls looked whiter than this, this bump like a tan or brown color, the pleco doesn't seem to be feeling sick, he's active and scaling up and down the sides of the tank, the mollies haven't picked up this if it is a fungus, I've only had the pleco a week and he is small I might not have noticed the bump before. Any help appreciated.

sounds like a tumor to me.
you would be better of posting in the energency section not the treatment section.
