One of my 8 barbs has a fat belly and it is very obvisous that she is pregnant. Will the barbs eat the eggs? i dont want this to be like my convict tank where I now have 25 babies lol

Support bacteria. They're the only culture some people have.

Tiger barbs are egg layers, and so can't be "pregnant". There are several things a fat body can mean, the fish could be constipated, have parasites, or if it is indeed a female, could be full of eggs.

What lead you to believe "she" has eggs? Is the fish in question eating, is it pooing, or does it have white stringy feces (a sign of constipation)?

And yes, the fish will eat the eggs.

Here's some info on keeping and breeding tigerbarbs.
