My new tank doesn't come with a stand. I've estimated it's weight is around 200lbs (based on 1 gallon weighing 10lbs), 14 stone or around 90 kilograms and its measurements are as follows:-
455LX490WX495H(mm) 18lx20wx20h (inches - rounded up) I'm looking for a strong, very safe plain, simple stand with as wide a surface area to its base as possible (it will be on a wooden floor) - I know to put a ceiling tile under the tank itself but should I put one under the stand or will this make it unstable? I don't want anything fancy - just something ideally with storage space beneath it, easily able to hold 20gallons of water, plus the tank and equipment itself. I'm in the UK and any item would need to be delivered as I don't drive so mail order would be most preferable. Any recommendations? Many thanks! |

i bought the same tank last week! mine came with a stand included but a quick search found the stand for sale seperately at petleaders.co.uk for £35

the place where u got the tank should have stands. your local fish shop is another option.
