Ok, so here's the deal wahey.gif I would like info from experience. At the moment I have a 155lt AquaOne, holding great cycled stats and is 8 months matured. It is a community setup (see sig) and I REALLY want a/some Puffer/s

I am considering moving all existing stock to make way for a, or some, Puffers.

I need to know my options (NOT Pigmy/dwarf?)

I would love Puffer keepers to post (show off, and why not!) their best Puffer picture to include at least some of their set up. The deal is that along with the picture you must give me some valued info that I need to know before starting.

I know there are pinned posts etc but I want experiences not text book.

These are the sort of things:

Tank at the moment is freshwater so can a selected (freshwater) Puffer go straight in or do I need to empty/clean filter/new water etc. (stats are perfect and no apparent nasties)
Degree of difficulties in keeping Freshwater Puffers over Brackish
I fancy F8 (Brackish0, what number in my tank.....2 maybe?
Other species of Puffer to consider for my tank.
Tank mates, if any?
Hopefully, your pictures will give me an insight into enviroment requirements but anything I need to know. (I have black quartz substrate at the mo...is this ok to keep?)
I have done a bit of research into feeding
Extra equipment needed if any
So on and so on..............

Ok, so you have the picture so now lets have your..........please wahey.gif

Here's the link to my F8s and here's the link to my tank. Sorry but I can't post up pics at work (stupid IT), but all the info about my experiences with F8s are there good.gif

I also have Dwarf Puffs and I find both types of puffers to be thoroughly entertaining and if you're prepared to put in the work and get the right equiplment etc, then they are highly rewarding fish to keep. I can't comment on any other types as yet smile.gif

Here's some pics posted up blindly (I know they're of my puffs and their tank tho)
