Sexing Featherfin Catfish?, Possible or not?

I just got thinking about my fish and started to wonder what sex my plec and featherfin catfish are? Is there a way of telling male from female in featherfin cats? Cheers, Joemuz

its basically the same way u would sex most other fish.look at the vents and all that good stuff.

for males there is a small pore infront of the poop shoot and in females its all puffy and picky colored

Mine has a small extention to his "poop shoot" if thats what you want to call it! thumbs-up.gif
