Scientific name - Mayaca sellowiana

Common terms - N/A

Geographic origin - South East Asia

Type - Stem

Max. size (height, width) - 10 - 30cm height, 1 - 3cm width

Lighting required - high (2.5+ WPG) to very high

Temperature - 22' - 30'C (25'C)

Water chemistry requirements (pH, hardness) - Soft acidic water is preferred, though it is fairly adaptable.

Growth rates - medium - fast

Demands - medium

Additional info - A wonderful looking plant with small needle-like leaves; an excellent plant and highly recommendable... I keep my plants in a nutrient-rich substrate, 2.5+ WPG lighting and CO2... It is doing very well... Looks best when planted in fairly large and fairly compact groups (of around 20 + stems...)
