Can you crossbreed a Paradise fish with a Betta?
Did you know that Paradise fish are the cousins of Bettas? They can blow bubbles and rap the females the same way when mating. |

So do gouramis. I seriously doubt that will ever really happen without some scientific help and not to mention the possibility of massive agression between the fish.

They are distant cousins, not in the same genus. Hybridisation between different genera is very rare, and where it can happen (e.g. in certain livebearers) the fry tend not to be viable.

no, too distant of cousins. the paradise fish is more likely to kill the betta than try and mate with it.
