I'm Patty and my husband Bill and I have 3 large retired racer greyhounds-Monty, PollyAnn and Georgie. I am the only member of this family interested in fish. Our granddaughter left us one goldfish (Goldie)and a cory catfish (Kitty) 7 years ago. They have lived happily together all these years. Last fall she got 2 more corys and gave them to me. We added them to the 20 gallon tank with Goldie and Kitty. Well, Kitty started laying eggs, at age 7 yrs, in November 2006. She is still laying eggs every few weeks. So far we have 7 healthy babies, another group that hatched last week and we have seen only one so far. Today Kitty layed another batch of eggs!!!

hi ther to all. am new to this forum and have just started my first tropical fish aquarium, well a month ago. i have a 30 litre aquarium which has been running just over a month now and have had 4 blue guppies and 4 neons for a week now. a friend tested my water today and my ammonia level was 0. my nitrate level was in the middle and my nitrite level was sky high although the ph was fine. hesaid it was good though as my cycle is nearly complete now. i went to the pet shop where i have always gone today after doing a part water change to lower the levels and he said to add baktinetten to my filter and only feed the fish every other day for a week to lower the levels so my fishys dont die. i have just done that now although it has left me an little confused about the whole cycle thing as he said ive set up the old fasioned way really! any way. i would like to get iether a small shrimp or siamese algea eaters or even maybe golden housekeepers next when my levels settle hopefully in a weeks time. i welcome any advice or tips as i am new to this although im very keen to make a good go of it.

Hello! I have the fish listed below, only 2 of which have names. My Betta is Shrinky, and my hi-fin Platy is Bart.
I have 2 female dogs, a boxer (Sophie), and a spaniel (Harley). I also have 3 kittys, Sid, Bandit, and Mysti.

I HAVE A 125 FULL OF FRESH WATER FISHIES - HOOKED AND GOING ON TO SALT - HAVING JUST PURCHASED A 44 HEX AND THREE OTHERS FOR THE VIEW OF IT, A 55 TO TRANSFER THE FWT TO AND DO THE 125 INTO SALT REEF ASAP THEN THE OTHER THREE 30 GAL HEXES[font="Comic Sans MS"][/font] I WILL SET UP FOR DIFFERENT TYPE OF SALTS AND A "HOSPITAL" SORT OF THINGY NOW THIS IS ONLY MY PLAN AT THIS TIME YOU UNDERSTAND ! THIS STUFF IS EXPENSIVE !

Hi everyone, I'm Andrew and have had my Tropical Fish tank for 4 months. My daughter has GoldFish and a Cat and 2 Tortoise.

I have a 90litre tank with:

2 Catfish

6 Guppys (2 Males) (4 Females) (1 Pregnant)

1 Gourami

2 Silver Mollys
