Wahoo.. bought 2 males and 3 females off Ebay a month or so ago and have been waiting for the 3 females to give birth. One of the females did give birth in the past, but I was not in a position to seperate the fry from the adults at the time. Anyway, only the 2 fry from this girl at the moment and she's just started, will keep you updated with pictures of the adults and the fry later.
Hope this is in the right section.. I thought rarer as Moscow blues aren't your everyday Guppy! |

LOL this will be interesting when the mods fineraly read this post as it's Moscow blue guppies......... yes they are very rare in the hobby but their still guppies...
Ok then, well pleased you like them and the females was a good size and no reason to not get fry from them quickly. These fish are amazing as the young males develop lots of colour from 4 weeks of age so removing young males are easy, as you need to remove then to allow them to develop propley. As now and then they produce a through back fry, which have lovely yellows to the body and tail, if you allow these to breed with your breeding stock you can loose the strain very quickly, so you rearly need to keep only the best male or 2 with the best females for the main stock. |
