I believe it is a terrestrial plant, but it is labeled aquarium/ terrestrial on the package. Since I got it for free, I thought it was worth a shot to put it in a tank.
The tank's got low light, so I know this isn't going to work out. However, I was wondering if anyone else had ever tried putting these in a fish tank. |

I haven't personally kept one in the tank, but terrestrial plants in general only last a month or two under water (fully submerged).
If you really want to keep it in the tank, you could have the root/lower part submerged, and the leafy part above the water line. EDIT: Just noticed... This post has been edited by fishkiller_nomore: Sep 16 2006, 08:33 AM |

Thanks.
Well, I never expected decent results. I've got 3 stalks in a terrarium, but in desert conditions, so they might fare slightly better before dying? |
