I bought a plant today from my LFS (Petco) thats called a White ribbon (Dracaena sanderiana).

I did some research online (after putting the plant in my tank of course) and it seems that this may not even be an aquatic plant!

Does anyone know if I need to remove this plant or not ?

Thanks,
Nathan

It is non-aquatic and will eventually rot underwater, it may last up to a couple of months if you're lucky.

Many shops sell non-aquatics I'm afraid. Best to research prior to buying or at least ask the staff, if they do not know then walk away is my advice.
