Panda Cory Colors, Changing w/background? |

I was looking at pictures of Panda Corys and found this page: http://www.fishbase.org/Photos/ThumbnailsS...ry.cfm?ID=12188 It looks like Pandas sort of take on the color of their background, doesn't it? Mine is on a mix of brown and blue gravel and he's a brownish color. Anyone else noticed this?

Aha, this explains what happened to my panda cories... When I got them, they were very white and black. (LFS had no gravels in that tank). Right now, they are somewhat brown and black, which I find them less cute. My gravels are blue (don't ask me how I ended up with this...
 ) so I guess it thinks brown is closer to blue than white?  I only realized this few weeks ago when I looked at the pictures of my cats months back. |
