I have just got back from the shop where I was going to get some rummynose tetras but they had sold out, my second choice was glowlights but they only had 3 left which I bought.

The man at the shop then convinced me Harlequins would go well in my tank and are peaceful and will not nip any off my other fish so I bought 5.
I know you shouldn't buy fish without checking first but I got carried away.

Are these fish as friendly as I was told?

I will be getting a couple more glowlights should I get more Harlequins at the same time or is 5 enough?

The fish do look great though, they are swimming around in a little group with the glowlights.

Thanks in advance for any comments.

Yes from experience i find Harlequins to be a nice addition to a community tank. We have a group of 6 which although look good schooling spend equal amount of time swimming alone (which i believe to be a sign that they are comfortable in there surrroundings)...

That's good to know that they are friendly,
My neons have now decided to join them so now there are neons, harlequins and glowlights in a big group moving around the tank.

Thanks for your replys
