just bought a 2nd hand tank-full nano set up
problem being- yes problem ! is that it comes with MH light (pendant). i live in rented accomm and unable to put anything up- ie wall brackets, or suspend from ceiling. where on earth can i get luminaire type legs for the MH??? it measures 395mm long, and 220 wide the width of the tank is 49cm please help!!!

I am unsure of any legs for that type of lighting as the lamp gets extremely hot. My suggestion (and it might not look too pretty) is to cunstruct a frame of sorts for the pendant to hang from. Maybe some nice wood up each side with another piece going across the top of the tank from one to the other. Then this will give you a spot to anchor the pendant from.
If that doen't work for you maybe you could fasion some sort of legs out of metal if you have some decent DIY skills. |

got zero diy skills man, so completely outta the question
i cannot believe that there is such a void for this situation, in the uk we dont have clamp on viper lights otherwise job done, we have the heinous unaesthetically appealing godforesaken hanfg from ceiling/wall lights- so 1970's snooker/pool hall look well if there was ever a business opportunity! |
