Having had a set of guppy fry and dalmation molly fry appear in my tank without my witnessing the birth I am delighted to announce I have now seen the birthing process!

Another guppy had fry today, I watched her pop them out all afternoon (really are time wasters arent they - got nothing done today whatsoever!)

I must have at least 25 fry. My breeding net is full of babies - all adorable.

My first set of guppy fry are thriving and beginning to show their colours - blues and oranges - cute as you like!

Anyway thought I would share my joy with you, just wish it was as easy as that for humans!

It's awesome watching them birth! biggrin.gif

I've seen my mollie, platies and guppies give birth! biggrin.gif

If it was that easy for humans, the world population would be a great deal high than 6bn! crazy.gif crazy.gif

Now that you have seen the guppy have its babies. What are you going to do with all of them??I loved the guppies at first but after I kept them a while I started to run out of room fast. I finally had to seperate the males and females. You will see. soon enough.

Watching live birth from a livebearer has got to be the best thing I've gotten out of guppies experience wise. So cool, isn't it? And the babies are pretty cute too wub.gif
