They keep going around in circles and touching each other. Are they fighting or wanting to breed? Can they even breed?

As far as I know these are not known to breed in captivity. They can be quite a territorial fish and are recommended to be kept in groups rather than pairs, so this could be their way of having a fight.
You never know though stranger things have happened, keep an eye on them and get lots of photos, if you they do have babies you'll be famous. |
