Hi
Just wondering what types of plants that I as a beginner, should start off with. Obviously I'm after plants that are easy to maintain i.e dont die easily and are resilient to the likes of 1x angel, 1x silver shark, 1x gourami, 1x red tail shark and 1x barb in a 50ltr tank. I have all plastic plants at the moment but want to experiement with live plants again as in the past I have failed miserably. Any suggestions much appreciated!! Thx Guys

if you have a light on the tank for about 12 hours a day you can try Ambulia, Hygrophilla sp, Hydrilla, Ludwigia, Swordplants & Vallis.
You will probably find the tank is a bit small for the angelfish, silver shark and red tail shark when they get a bit bigger. And barbs prefer to be kept in groups of 6 or more. This post has been edited by Colin_T: May 23 2008, 02:49 AM |
