I recently purchased a mostly full grown Oscar from a pet store (pet store = I am using the term lightly). At any rate, I felt sorry for him, he was in a dark tank all alone and I was looking to buy another fish anyways. But in this limited light I could not see he had HITH and how dirty the water was. I noticed how dirty the water was when I looked into the bag he was in when I got him home, it was a nasty brownish color. So after I acclimated him to the water, I let him free into my 150 gallon tank. After I that, I took a look at him, I have good lighting in my tank. I saw a small/medium hole in his head. I knew immediately what it was by seeing pics on Oscar websites. So I need help in fighting this, guy/girls. All the sites I have looked at have different suggestions as to how to remedy it. So I am asking for help here. Thanks for your time and good luck with your own fishies!

Maybe if you go to the petstore and tell them and maybe show a pic they will give you the medications for free. biggrin.gif
