The 'stopper' at the end of my spray bar that keeps the water inside it so it leaves through the holes on the side (like is suppose to) has popped out all of a sudden. Ive tried to put it back in but it just keeps popping back out with the pressure of the water..

Hope you know what i mean..

What can i do to keep it in place ?? Its like a hard rubber material that i thinks now too soft to keep in place.. This is my only way of oxygenating the water also. Its ok for the time being, but i need to get it stuck back in..

Any help please ?? ... thanks

Hiya, I had the same problem. Easily fixed though. I placed a bit of superglue around the edges and wapped it back in. I have had no problems at all with it. Only problem with this plan is that it makes it slightly harder to clean the inside of the pipe.

I started off trying to use elastic bands to hold it in place but that didnt last for long before it popped out again.

I would get some sealent for tanks,
Don't use superglue unless you can let it dry out for 24 hours.

Are you sure none of the holes in the bar are blocked? I have found that my stopper only ever fell out when snails inside the bar were blocking most of the holes. If this is a case, stick a pencil into each individual hole to dislodge the dirt (or snails in my case) starting from the end closest to the water entry point. The dirt is then carried out of the bar, clearing the holes, reducing the pressure in the pipe, allowing the stopper to be replaced and function correctly again good.gif

I've wrapped PTFE tape around my stopper & rammed it into the spraybar.
Or, make one out of a cork, then, if it does come out, at least it will float - the orignal is a swine to locate amongst the plants.

I have a similar filter but the end stopper from the spray bar is lost. It is still functional though. You could easily make one from a cork.
