Ok, I've got a pearl danio slightly swolen and with a protruding anus. The anus is white, and sticks out very slightly so it almost looks like an ick spot. No visible change in behavior - the fish is active, shoaling with the rest of the danios, and eating regularly. Poo appears normal color.

A heavily pregnant female platy is currently sitting in the bottom of the tank between two rocks and appears to be breathing rapidly, not sure if this is related. Another (also heavily pregnant) female platy was constipated recently, but is going normally now. I'm not sure if these are related, but they're worth mentioning.

Tank size: 55 gallons
pH: 7.6
ammonia: 0
nitrite: 0
nitrate: 10
kH:
gH:
tank temp: 76F

Volume and Frequency of water changes: 10 gallons a week, just changed 15 gallons before posting as well (after water tests listed above)

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: None

Tank inhabitants: 2 angelfish, 2 keyhole cichlids, 3 platies, 6 black skirt tetras, 5 pearl danios, 5 peppered corys, 1 blue panchax, 4 otos, 1 bristlenose, 1 apple snail, 2 nerite snails

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): 2 keyhole cichlids. Quarantined for four weeks, added this week. They're not showing any symptoms

Exposure to chemicals: None

Digital photo (include if possible): No working camera, sorry

Bumping, since I didn't get a reply yet. The symptoms haven't changed. The danio isn't getting worse, or better, for about four days. I put her in quarantine and offered her mashed peas, and she won't touch it, but she's eating everything else as usual.

Nothing like those. The anus is a small white point, no discoloration. The fish is still active, but hasn't pooped since being quarantined yesterday (most likely constipated). She'll eat normal food, but isn't touching peas for some reason.

Fish can get a swollen enlarged anus with dropsy as well with internal parasties.
Are the scaless sticking out.
The spot does it have a red centre of any red tinging on the outside of the spot.
Any excess mucas on the fish body.
Check the gills over to see if there pale with excess slime or red and inflamed.
Fish can heavy breath when there bloated.

No scales sticking out, at least not at this point. No redness on or around the spot. No mucus on the outside of the body, I'll try to get a good look at the gills. The danio hasn't been breathing heavily, only the female platys. I'd assumed it was pregnancy related, as they're both within a week of dropping, but they could have the same thing.
