I've just got some Interpret "anti internal bacteria" treatment. It says I should take out the filter medium for the 11 days the treatment lasts. So is it okay to have no filtration for 11 days? The bacteria in gravel/ filter won't die will they? Just need some advice on what is the best thing to do here

blink.gif are you sure it says that ? And not just to take out *carbon* ?

No - your tank won't be OK without filtration for 11 days.

appologies, "remove the caarbon and zeolite filter media"

"The carbon and zeolite may be returned to the aquarium 7 days after final dose"

okay, so keep filter box switched on and remove both mediums then. How much should i feed the fish while the treatment is underway?

I have one of these: link blush.gif

It doesn't really make it clear, however i'm fairly sure the front one is the carbon filter?

edit: the green/white bit seems to be the carbon / zeolite and the black bit for the beneficial bacteria... am i right?
