Due the excessive space taken up by some signatures we have come to the decission to limit signatures to just 5 lines of standard sized text or one picture/gif (maximum size of 100k or 400px wide x 300px tall) and 2 lines of text, large text should be treated as a picture and limited to 2 lines. If your signature exceeds this please alter it to within the new guidelines ASAP. Failure to amend signatures will result in moderator edits.
Information regarding fish stocks and tank specs can be placed in the section provided for this in your personal profiles.

For those with large pictures they wish to keep this site http://www.irfanview.com/ may be able to help with reformating them to a suitable size without loss of quality.

We are sorry for any inconvienience this may cause but of late signatures have become increasingly large and action has had to have been taken to rectify this.

This is also not compliant, You can either have a picture and two lines of standard text, or no more than two lines of large text, your large text and picture and single line of normal text is too much, although not so much that anyone will really care, Loko should probably utilise the section provided for his tank stats and perhaps put a link to his profile in his signature to lead people to his tank stats.

Yeah. Most people aren't going to go in your profile just to see what kind of fish you have.

if they're interested, they will. if they aren't intersted, they won't read your signature either. also if you need to refer to your stocking lis, you just say "check my profile", or post it directly in your post.

I don't know that much about what physical size or file size the signature should be - but I do think there should be a rule banning signatures with a video of someone having a glass bottle thrown at their face!

Turning off signatures is great.. I was one of the ones annoyed with everyones 20 line signatures, so I just turned them off..

Much better that way.

gets ridiculous some these "signatures" keep it your profile thats what i say, all we want to read on the actual forum is your post, not your signautre (unless its fairly brief), it just takes up uneccesary space and most of them are very boring anyway LOL

I like how some sigs have peoples tanks info. It helps you to know their experience right away.

Write yer tank stats tiny in a small pic and load it as yer avatar !

I noticed no one is payoing much attention to this rule.

Still some huge signatures on the site.

I dont see very many annoying sigs here....I think people are abiding and mods are doing a good job
