Hey guys,
For once this isnt a topic saying something gone wrong biggrin.gif

Ive recently just aquired my Lil Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish (Linus).
He's about 4 inches, and was already feeding when i took him.
Ive had him for about 3 days, already ive got him weaned onto frozen food.
I'm just posting this topic to see who else has kept these magnificent lionfish.
and just to aquite tips and to pick your brains for your own experiences kept with the fish.

I shall get a nice picture when he comes out of his cave smile.gif

Thankyou for your time.

Never kept them myself, but something I would VERY much like to keep in the future. Gorgeous fish they are.

Glad to hear he's doing well biggrin.gif

I am interested in keeping a fuzzy dwarf in the future, but I want one of the rare (and silly money) yellow or green variants.

heh,
yeah my mate Andy has a Green varient one.
It cost him a fortune!

As for Linus,
He's alot more active now, and he's beginning to associate me with food,
when i come upstairs hes out of where ever he is and up at the front
swimming. It's a Joy to see him so personable so quickly.
I've kept an Antenna Lionfish in the past, and he wasnt half as
personable.

As i promised, here are some pics ^^

Looks great, we've got one about 3inches I guess and he nags for his food. We keep feeder shrimp in a small tank next to his and he'll swim from me to the shrimp and back again until he's fed. Funny little fella.

Aww he is gorgeous! I used to keep a Fuzzy but unfortunately he wouldnt eat for a few days and died.
We had him for a good few month, then one day he stopped eatting. We tried alsorts to get him going again, checked out the tank that was perfect.

Good luck with him! Lions are one of my favorites!

Thankyou all for your support smile.gif
I'm glad to here there are still D. Brachypterus fans out there smile.gif
He's been doing great this week.
Fed him a few Feeder fish as a treat that I'd kept in a quarantine tank.
Even though they were Freshwater, i fed them on marine feed,
so they had eaten the proper diet ^^.

Just to let any people who are quite anal on feeding freshwater fish.
This is only a treat ^^. Not a regular thing smile.gif.

I'll get some more pictures of him when i can smile.gif

keep on posting your experiences guys good.gif
