Over the weekend, i purchased a spaghetti finger leather coral that looked really nice in the store and i had planned for it to fill in an area that needed some height. when i got it into the tank after acclimicsing it, it was all droopy but looking good in the coral. The coral looks great now but it is always drooping to the side. It is not near the current of the filter so i dont know if this has anything to do with it but i think it might. the only problem is that there isnt really any spots where the coral could go near the filter.

If the polyps are open, there is nothing to worry about. Perhaps wait a few more days, maybe it will inflate itself?

Some drooping is normal FYI. Mine is doing very nice and growing quickly but still leans or droops a little when inflated. Like lynden said if the polyps are extended then its probably fine.

See my post on it in the TFF Index...they usually wilt and hang in the current. They are very hardy and can grow huge. They love bright light and high flow. Digital cam? SH

wow, your leather has much thicker arms then mine and less than mine. is this okay? Mine droops so that it is literally sideways.

Like we've said, as long as the polyps are out it's probably fine.
